How do I pay?
You pay first, then we dispatch: bank transfer, JazzCash, EasyPaisa or cash deposit. We confirm the total on WhatsApp before you pay. Nothing is charged on the website.
What is the delivery charge outside Lahore?
We deliver all over Pakistan by courier. Delivery is free in Lahore. For other cities the courier charge is added, and we tell you the amount on WhatsApp before you pay.
Do you install cameras outside Lahore?
No. Installation, site visits and on-site service are in Lahore only, and installation is quoted per job. Outside Lahore we deliver the equipment and your own electrician or installer fits it.
Should I buy a DVR or an NVR?
A DVR (XVR) records HD analog cameras that connect with coaxial cable. An NVR records IP cameras that connect with network cable. Pick the recorder that matches your cameras.
What is a PoE switch for?
A PoE switch sends power and video over one network cable, so IP cameras need no separate power supply. Choose a switch with at least as many PoE ports as cameras.
How many cameras do I need for a 5 marla, 10 marla or 1 kanal house?
Count the places you want to see rather than the plot size: usually the gate, the front of the house, the car porch, the back or the roof, and the main entrance inside. A 5 marla house is often covered with 2 to 4 cameras, a 10 marla or 1 kanal house with 4 to 8. Our home kits come with 2 or 4 cameras; for more, use the System Builder or ask us.
How many days of recording will I get?
It depends on the number of cameras, their resolution and whether they record all the time or only on motion. As a starting point we recommend a 1TB surveillance drive for up to 4 cameras, 2TB for 8 and 4TB for 16. Tell us how many days you want to keep and we size the drive for it.
Will the cameras record during load-shedding?
Only while they have power. Put the recorder, the camera power supply and the WiFi router on a UPS or inverter and recording and phone viewing carry on through a power cut. A 4G solar camera needs no mains power at all.
How do I know the product is genuine?
Every product is listed with its exact model number: check that the model on the box and on the camera label matches your order confirmation on WhatsApp. Pollo products carry our 1-year local warranty, with claims handled from our Lahore shop. Other brands come with the brand's official warranty, which we confirm with the order.
Who controls the camera app and the password?
You should. Use your own account in the camera app and a strong password of your own, and change it if someone else set the system up. For installations in Lahore we set up viewing on your phones as part of the job.
Can I add cameras to my existing system?
Yes, if your recorder has free channels and the new cameras match it: HD analog cameras on a DVR (XVR), IP cameras on an NVR. Send us the recorder's model number or a photo of its label on WhatsApp and we tell you what fits.
